Partners
Built in good company.
We can’t build this alone. More to the point, we wouldn’t want to.
The Standard
The Deep End depends on a small number of organizations whose work we genuinely admire. Our founding partners are co-hosts: in the room, shaping the week, present for all of it. That’s what partnership looks like here.
We’re also building a broader network of organizations who care about the same things we do. Every relationship starts with one question: does this make the experience better for all of us?
Founding Partners
With us from the beginning.
Our founding partners are helping shape the first Deep End and what may grow from it. These are working partnerships, grounded in the distinct role each organization and co-host plays in making the experience possible.
Founding Media Partner
Convergence Studio
a West Coast creative studio
- Led by
- Kristine Cofsky and Devon Carr
- Practice
- Cinematic stills and motion for spaces, places, and brands
- In the room
- Devon Carr, co-host
Led by Kristine Cofsky and Deep End co-host Devon Carr, Convergence Studio is a West Coast creative studio creating cinematic stills and motion for spaces, places, and brands.
We are biased, of course, but we think Convergence has created some of the best brand and travel photography we have ever seen.
Their work has a way of making you long for the thing you’re looking at.
As The Deep End’s founding media partner, Convergence is helping us think carefully about what should be seen, what should remain private, and how to tell the story of the week without pulling people out of it.
Because Devon is also part of The Deep End hosting team, Convergence will be present from inside the experience, with the trust and context that requires. Together, we are designing an approach to documentation that includes clear consent, camera-free spaces, and plenty of room to simply be there.
With mutual consent, participants will be able to use retreat images in which they appear, as well as access to exclusive service offerings.
Founding Partner · Transition, Conflict & Belonging
Summit Within Therapy Collective
a BC-based therapy collective
- Founded by
- Kieren Britton
- Practice
- Individual, couples, walk-and-talk, and group counselling
- In the room
- Kieren Britton, co-host
Founded by Deep End co-host Kieren Britton, Summit Within is a BC-based therapy collective offering individual, couples, walk-and-talk, and group counselling through a collaborative model of care.
Their work recognizes that none of us exists in isolation. Our inner lives are shaped by our relationships, histories, communities, and environments. Summit Within meets that complexity with curiosity, dignity, presence, and a belief in what else might become possible.
At The Deep End, Summit Within’s contribution is rooted in Kieren’s understanding of how belonging is actually built. Before founding the collective, she spent nearly a decade building a national outdoor community that helped people cross the threshold from “that world is not for me” to “I belong here.”
She knows that welcome lives in the details: how people arrive, how expectations are set, how transitions are held, and whether someone can participate without having to perform belonging first.
That experience shapes how Kieren helps hold the social and relational conditions of the week.
She will also be available for a limited number of optional 1:1 sessions in her capacity as a coach (not a therapist, that’s beyond the scope and intent of this gathering). Summit Within will offer exclusive follow-up opportunities for participants who want to continue working with Kieren after the retreat.
Founding Partner · Systems, Clarity & Change
EnACT collective
a strategy, coaching, and visual facilitation practice
- Founded by
- Stina Brown
- Practice
- Strategy, coaching, and visual facilitation
- In the room
- Stina Brown, co-host
Founded by Deep End co-host Stina Brown, EnACT collective is a strategy, coaching, and visual facilitation practice that helps leaders and organizations navigate complexity with greater clarity, trust, and courage.
For nearly two decades, Stina has designed and held retreats, learning journeys, strategic processes, and complex conversations across movements, organizations, philanthropy, education, and systems-change work. She is especially skilled at making invisible dynamics visible, sometimes through visual practice and sometimes by naming the pattern a group has been feeling but has not yet found language for.
The fit with The Deep End is unusually direct.
EnACT’s work begins with an understanding that the quality of a container shapes what becomes possible inside it. So does ours.
At The Deep End, Stina helps us attend to the parts of the week that are harder to see but matter most: how attention is held, how relationships develop, what the room needs, and when something important is trying to come into view.
Stina will also be available for a limited number of optional 1:1 coaching sessions during the retreat.
Partner With The Deep End
Help create the conditions.
We are building a small, carefully chosen network of organizations that care about sustained attention, meaningful work, and the conditions that help people thrive.
A partnership or sponsorship might underwrite part of the experience or help us expand access for equity-seeking participants. It might strengthen a particular part of the week, contribute a genuinely useful tool, or help people carry some of these conditions home with them.
Deep End partnerships cannot purchase access to the people in the room, a speaking role, or influence over who is invited or how the week is designed.
We make contributions visible in ways that are transparent and proportionate. We build relationships where the fit is genuine, the contribution has a clear purpose, and everyone involved is proud to stand behind it.
